Product manager

Location: Seattle, WA 

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 DOE

HFK is looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about the HFK mission and designing products that customers love. 

The Product Manager (PdM) owns all verticals of B2B and B2C products. They will find and fill opportunities within our community by managing the product roadmap and lifecycle, as well as, collaborating with other departments to maintain product verticals. Product verticals include digital courses and downloads, merchandise, Stock Market School (SMS), and consulting.

Writing and content creation is essential to this role. The PdM should be passionate about these, excel in project management and creative direction, and have an eye for e-commerce trends and audience needs.

Success in this role includes:

  • Identifying, planning for, and filling product gaps for audience segments and clients
  • Successfully scaling product verticals 
  • Launching short-term and long-term product roadmaps
  • Developing curriculum for Stock Market School that enhances the customer experience and education

Direct reports: Community Success Manager
Works closely with Marketing Manager & CEO

responsibilities:

  • Managing e-commerce and related landing pages; 
  • Developing product roadmap and positioning strategies to drive growth and profitability; 
  • Creating educational curriculum and products for the HFK community; 
  • Identifying opportunities for new products and improvements to existing products;
  • Analyzing product performance and using data-driven insights to make informed decisions about future product development;
  • Leveraging data-driven insights and customer feedback;
  • Managing a calendar for product verticals;
  • Owning communication – internally with executives and team & externally with customers and clients;
  • Managing team members (currently one) and projects across teams for clients and customer support

qualifications:

  • Personal finance experience – does not need to be a certification, but experience in finance of some capacity; 
  • Successful work experience in e-commerce and product management;
  • Ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management; 
  • Strong technical background with e-commerce, content creation, and project management platforms/tools; 
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions; 
  • Strong problem solving skills; 
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the market, customers, and competitors; 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 
  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
